EXPO2025Personal Agent

The NTT Group is a Gold Partner of “Personal Agents for Visitors,” which is an effort to showcase the society of the future at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai.

We have provided a convenient app, “EXPO2025 Personal Agent” (hereinafter referred to as the App), to help visitors to Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan tour the Expo venue smoothly (from April 13, 2025 to October 13, 2025).
During the service period, the App was used by about 15 million visitors in total. Thank you very much.

The app is an information guide app for those visiting the Expo venue. Based on the venue map, it provides convenient features to help visitors tour smoothly around the Expo venue. * For more details on the app’s features, please see here.

Demonstration experiments at Expo 2025 Osaka,

While providing the App for Expo visitors, we have also been conducting demonstration experiments related to urban development projects promoted by the NTT Group as part of the “Future Society Showcase.”
In the urban development envisioned by the NTT Group, “enabling visitors to enjoy more facilities (improving mobility)” and “creating and nurturing cities together with the people who live, work, and gather in the city” are important themes.
At Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, the venue was treated as a single city, and we conducted demonstrations on “allowing visitors to enjoy more pavilions/events” as well as “collecting ideas from visitors about future society, generating collective intelligence, and co-creating a vision for future society.”

Utilizing the insights gained from Expo 2025 Osaka,
Kansai, Japan for urban development

The NTT Group aims to utilize the insights gained from Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan in neighborhoods and commercial facilities, striving to create communities where the people who live, work, and gather in the city can live and gather in safety and comfort.
Moreover, the insights obtained are planned to be used in demonstration experiments conducted in actual neighborhoods.

The Personal Agent will aid visitors, creating the optimal experience for them, facilitating efficient movement between exhibits, creating an advanced experience, and contributing to visitor satisfaction. We will also guide you through exhibits and suggest enjoyable ways to spend your day according to your interests, whether you are a first-time visitor or a frequent visitor to the Expo.

Venue Guidance

We provide information on facilities such as pavilions and food and beverage, as well as event information and congestion information. You can check the congestion status of the entire venue area (50m x 50m) units, and the availability of reservations for pavilions/events that require reservations on the map, making it easier to plan ahead.

Route Guidance

Route Guidance

We will guide you from your current location to your destination within the venue using the optimal route. You can also set waypoints along the way, such as stopping by a restroom. Additionally, AR route guidance is available throughout the venue, making it easy for those who are not good with maps to intuitively understand the direction to proceed.

Facility Recommendations

Facility Recommendations

Based on AI preference estimation, we recommend the next actions such as pavilions and events that match your interests. These recommendations may lead to new discoveries that you wouldn’t have noticed on your own.

AI considers the person’s preferences and movement efficiency to guide them through the best possible full-day tour. Even those who have not decided on specific facilities to visit can enjoy the expo all day.
