Tokyo - January 23, 2023 - NTT Corporation (TYO:9432), today announced that has developed practical secure computation AI software, consisting of the world's first secure computation technology with training and inference processing in the key algorithms of the four major categories of AI while keeping data encrypted.
Also, NTT, in collaboration with the Research Organization of Information and System National Institute of Informatics (hereinafter NII), is offering a trial to use the secure computation AI software.
To realize open science, NII is conducting research on a secure shared data analysis platform using secure computation to accelerate the utilization of university research data while appropriately managing it.
In this trial, as part of the joint research between NII and NTT, we are recruiting universities and other partners to experiment with secure computation AI software on NII's computing environment.
Through this initiative, NII and NTT aim to establish fundamental technologies that enable secure information sharing and realize a society where everyone can utilize data safely and confortably.
