The NTT Group is strengthening and expanding its efforts in initiatives concerning "conservation of biodiversity" as one of the environmental themes under the new Green Vision 2020.
In January 2012, the environmental managers of NTT Group companies held a Business and Biodiversity Workshop as part of the biodiversity conservation activities of the "Business and Biodiversity Working Group" which is responsible for group-wide efforts toward conservation of biodiversity.

Assisted by Response Ability Inc. headed by Dr. Naoki Adachi, one of the foremost in the field, the Workshop identified the contact points between NTT Group business activities and biodiversity, tasks needing to be addressed, policies, and priorities.
The NTT Group will continue to work through the Working Group to deepen the initiatives and policies discussed in the Workshop to achieve business activities which are more conducive to biodiversity conservation.
