NTT Group was the only telecommunications company to be thus recognized in Japan.

This is an indication of the high regard for the NTT Group's efforts in environmental risk management and ICT utilization for the reduction of greenhouse gases.

The achievement was announced today, Wednesday November 6, 2013, in the CDP Japan 500 Climate Change Report 2013.

The CDLI comprises the organizations that achieved a score within the top 10% of the respondents. In 2013 the Japan 500 CDLI comprises 24 companies achieving the disclosure score of 95 or more.

NTT Group was given a Disclosure Score of 95. NTT Group is the only telecommunications company to achieve a position in the current CDLI in Japan.

One of the themes is creating a low carbon society, which we are promoting through three approaches: "Green of ICT" refers to efforts to reduce the environmental impacts of our own business activities. "Green by ICT" refers to our efforts to reduce CO2 emissions across society through providing ICT services. "Green with Team NTT" refers to efforts by group employees and their families to work with local communities to help protect the environment.

Going forward, the NTT Group continues to leverage ICT and the combined talents of its workforce to reduce greenhouse gases and contribute to the sustainable development of society.

The environmental protection activities of the NTT Group are outlined in the following website.
