The United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) is the world's largest sustainability initiative, in which the United Nations and the private sector (corporations and organizations) work together to build a healthy global society. Companies and organizations that sign the UNGC are required to support the 10 principles * related to the protection of human rights, elimination of unfair labor practices, environmental measures, and prevention of corruption, and to make continuous efforts to realize these principles.

Based on the NTT Group Sustainability Charter formulated in November 2021, the NTT Group is promoting sustainability initiatives on a global level. Going forward, we will strive to realize a sustainable society by complying with the 10 Principles advocated by the UNGC and further promoting measures to promote sustainability.

The 10 principles in 4 areas (Human Rights, Labor, Environment, and Anti-Corruption) defined by the UN Global Compact are all recognized by the international community as universal values that have been adopted and agreed upon worldwide. https://www.unglobalcompact.org/what-is-gc/mission/principlesOpen other window
