Masayuki Abe Selected as an International Association for Cryptologic Research Fellow

Masayuki Abe, a Fellow of the Social Informatics Laboratories at the NTT Service Innovation Laboratory Group, was awarded the title of Fellow of the International Association for Cryptographic Research (IACR). The IACR Fellowship is a title awarded annually to about five members who have made significant contributions to the field of cryptography and the development of the research community and are deemed worthy as exemplary researchers.

Abe was selected as a Fellow in recognition of his years of outstanding contributions to practical cryptographic systems and his dedication to the IACR and the cryptographic community in the Asia-Pacific region.

He is the fourth Japanese national to be selected as an IACR Fellow and the second affiliated with NTT after Fellow Tatsuaki Okamoto (who was selected in 2015).
