NTT to Host the "NTT Art Contest 'Enlightening the Power of Diversity through Art'" 2022
- Creating a Bridge to Tomorrow Where Everyone Can Shine, Regardless of Disabilities -

Tokyo – August 10, 2022 –NTT Corporation ("NTT") has announced that it will once again host an art contest for the disabled. Last year, for the first time, the company held the "NTT Art Contest for Drawing 'CONNECT'" to promote the active participation of people with disabilities, based on the concept of " Enlightening the Power of Diversity through Art- Aiming for a world in which everyone can shine, regardless of disabilities. - ." We received applications from approximately 200 people.
 This year, with the cooperation of Japan Airlines Co., Ltd. (“JAL”), which has supported this year's contest, we have chosen the theme of "Bridges to Tomorrow" to express a new world and hope for the future. Besides paintings, we have newly added three-dimensional works to the list of eligible applicants, and are welcoming submissions from a wide range of people in Japan and abroad.

The details of the Art Contest 2022 are as follows:

Eligible Applicants: Persons with disabilities

Theme: Bridges to Tomorrow to tomorrow

Application period: Aug. 15, 2022 - Oct. 14, 2022 (JST)

Selection period: Late October 2022

Selection announcement: Late November 2022 (since Dec. 3 is International Day for the Disabled)

Winners (tentative): About 25 people*

Awards: Grand Prix, Semi-Grand Prix, the NTT Award, the JAL Award, and the D&I Award**

In addition to general applications for people with disabilities, this contest is open to all NTT Group and JAL Group employees, regardless of disability, to promote understanding within the company of activities to promote the active participation of people with disabilities.
