NTT will pursue initiatives related to LGBT and other sexual minorities as part of its drive to promote diversity management.
Upholding global cloud services as a pillar of our Medium-Term Management Strategy, NTT is seeking to globalize its business at an accelerated pace and strengthen its cloud services. As we respond to dramatic changes in the markets and meet diversifying customer needs, and toward becoming a consistently selected "Value Partner," we recognize diversity management as a key strategy of our management. Moreover, we aim to generate innovation and strengthen our corporate capabilities by appreciating and effectively deploying our diverse human resources.
With regard to diversity management, we have been working to promote women's careers and the hiring of persons with disabilities by setting up dedicated organizations, such as the diversity promotion offices at major NTT Group companies, since 2007. We have begun to pursue initiatives related to LGBT and other gender minorities in view of expanding social awareness.
The NTT Group endeavors to develop its organization and realize a society in which everyone can live and work based on who they are, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. We strive to motivate our employees to appreciate diversity and maximize their abilities as well as to create a working environment that allows for efficient work styles.
