Announcement of Organizational Changes
Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Jun Sawada; "NTT") announces the following organizational changes.
1．Specifics of changes
Internal auditing has become increasingly important for coping with today's ever more diverse and complex risks. With a view to further enhancing and strengthening internal auditing, NTT has decided to create a new Internal Audit Department as an important organization under Japan's Companies Act. A Senior Vice President will be newly assigned as Head of Internal Audit Department, and the Internal Control Office will be abolished. On the occasion of these organizational changes, NTT intends to carry out further strengthening of governance aimed at transforming to a new management style.
