NTT Group participated in Locked Shields 2026, a cyber defense exercise organized by NATO CCDCOE

Tokyo – June 4th, 2026 – The NTT Group is pleased to announce its participation in Locked Shields 2026, a cyber defense exercise organized by the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence (CCDCOE) held from April 20 to 24, 2026.

Following the last year, this is the fifth participation for NTT DOCOMO, NTT DOCOMO BUSINESS, NTT DATA, and NTT Security Japan, and the third participation for NTT holding company. Approximately 40 countries participated to address simulated cyberattacks against a fictional nation.

Team Japan joined the exercise to deepen coordination with like-minded nations and relevant entities and collaboratively enhanced our cyber incident response capabilities by teaming up with Republic of Lithuania, Japanese government agencies and private companies, the Ministry of National Defence of the Republic of Lithuania, and others.
