Tokyo – Sep 8, 2022 – NTT Corporation (NTT) announced a CEO statement supporting the Women's Empowerment Principles(WEPs), which offer guidance for empowering women in the workplace, marketplace, and community. To promote stable corporate growth, NTT also joined the 30% Club Japan, aiming to increase the proportion of women executives.
In September 2021, NTT officially announced its "Transformation to a new management style"1 in response to remote working and a decentralized network society following the COVID-19 pandemic. Within this transformation, NTT is also working to promote the active participation of women by setting new targets of 25 to 30 percent female executives and 30 percent new female managers by 2025.
After endorsing the WEPs and joining the 30% Club Japan, NTT will continue to promote diversity and inclusion as major corporate prioritizes to create a workplace where every unique human can maximize their abilities and work towards the realization of a sustainable society.

Founded in the United Kingdom in 2010, the 30% Club is a global campaign taking action to increase the proportion of women in key decision-making bodies of companies, including the board of directors.
The campaign expands its international foot to 17 countries, and the number of participating countries continues to increase. The 30% Club Japan was launched in 2019, and 72 corporations and organizations, such as companies, financial institutions, media agencies, and universities have joined. The chapter's goal is to achieve a ratio of 30 percent women executives in the top 100 companies listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange by 2030.
