LGBTQ initiatives

We are promoting LGBTQ initiatives in order to realize an organization and society where everyone can live and work while being true to themselves regardless of sexual preference or gender identity.

Establishing systems and earning recognition from external parties

NTT has been engaging in LGBTQ initiatives since 2016, and has enabled allowances, benefits, and other systems related to spouses and their families to also apply to same-sex partners since 2018.

These efforts have been met with recognition, leading to 18 Group companies certified as the highest grade of Gold in fiscal 2020 under the PRIDE index established by "work with PRIDE" to evaluate companies' LGBTQ efforts.

In addition, NTT actively participates in LGBTQ-related events outside of the company, in light of its social responsibility and branding.
