The number of business caregivers balancing work with taking care of their parents has been increasing, and this is causing people to take time off work or even abandon their careers. From the perspective of companies, this does not only risk reduced labor productivity, but also a loss of opportunities to utilize talent, especially among the senior population whose parents require care. It has become a social issue in our country, where the birthrate is declining and the population is aging. NTT DATA's Social Design Office has been working with various companies to provide services that combine the real and digital worlds, in order to help business caregivers balance work and care.
