"Addressing societal challenges of an aging population and labor shortages through drone and robotics technology. For instance, in agriculture, we developed autonomous weeding robots equipped with sensing and AI capabilities, achieving efficient management of vast farmlands (including weeding and disease detection/control). By substituting expertise across industrial sectors with AI robotics technology, we contribute to labor-saving and automation.
Based on field verification results in agriculture, manufacturing, and other sectors, we are collaborating with related research institutions and manufacturers. These solutions are being deployed as NTT DOCOMO services/solutions across multiple regions, primarily in Hokkaido and the Kanto area."
