AMAE (Messages on small e-ink displays for your loved ones)

AMAE addresses the challenge of elderly people with mild cognitive impairments living alone and far from loved ones. The project uses small e-ink displays placed in strategic locations throughout the home, allowing family members to send helpful messages through a smartphone app. Messages can include medication reminders, safety instructions, appointment notifications, or emotional support. Based on Calm Technology principles, AMAE requires minimal interaction from elderly users while providing continuous connection with family members.
