Implementation of Advanced Technologies Contributing to Urban Development 30 Years Ahead

In addressing Japan's current challenges, such as population decline, we have formed a mechanism to continuously create new value through "service × technology" and "data × technology." This is achieved not by prioritizing technology development alone, but by focusing on real-world issues through collaboration with local governments. Furthermore, we have strengthened collaboration across NTT DOCOMO Group divisionsーincluding corporate, mass markets, and R&Dーto establish a one-stop system addressing customer needs and challenges. This enables us to build a model for medium-to-long-term initiatives, from identifying challenges to developing technologies and creating value, rather than handling isolated orders. Additionally, we are sharing the case study of the Kobe Collaboration Agreement, now in its 10th year, through platforms like the Branch Managers' Liaison Meeting, and promoting its horizontal deployment to Urasoe City.
