Hostile Activity Watch Kernel (HAWK) is a cloud-based, real-time critical information management system developed by the Wildlife Trust of India with financial support from NTT DATA. Implemented in 2 states across India, HAWK addresses the global issue of illegal wildlife trade, which is a threat to conservation. It monitors forest crimes, consolidates data on wildlife deaths and criminal activities to enable preemptive responses against syndicates targeting high-value wildlife products.
